Aquest dissabte es va presentar el meu primer llibre en l'àrea de recerca musicològica: la biografia del compositor i pianista Luis G. Jordà (1869-1951). Tres anys de feina cristalitzats en 250 pàgines. L'acte va ser presentat per la cònsol de Mèxic, Francisca Escobar, i l'alcalde de les Masies de Roda, Ramon Isern. Started working for NXP Software this July, just after becoming a PhD. Exciting position as researcher developing video-based gesture recongition interfaces on mobile phones and exploring the application of computer vision techniques into these devices. I like to think that I am contributing to the crafting of the mobile phones of the future.

After a marathonian dissertation (50 mins exposition + 100 minutes of questioning), I got my PhD summa cum laude. I promise videos soon :)

After 10 years without stepping on a theater, I come back! Last 17 December 2007, the trio formed by Anna Saez de Tejada (viola), Jose Antonio Casas (clarinet) and Cristian Canton (piano) played a part of the Mozart's Kegelstatt Trio in Eb KV 498. This interpretation was performed in the Auditorium of the Faculty of Mathematics of the Technical University of Catalonia within the Christmas concert usually organized by this faculty every year. This concert was a kickoff of this formation that is preparing a future concert including works by Mozart, Stamitz and Saint-Saens.
